And I loved the book!! It was VERY helpful and if you read the post, you’ll see I even did my dh’s hair as well and both him and my granny have suggestions for your next book LOL!!

From Lorrie Flem:
I love it.
I have always been freaked out by the thought of cutting my boys hair.
Somehow the girls’ hair seemed more forgiving in that my mistakes would not
be as obvious. And, to be perfectly frank, the “freaked out” part might have
had something to do with that hair cut I gave Johnny in 1998 when he looked
… like we needed to let his hair grow!
I haven’t touched the boy’s hair since and I rarely even touch the girl’s
hair with scissors. I guess you could say I love them too much to cut their
hair!
But, that was BC Nancy Baetz and her hair cutting book for boys. I read her
book which is charming, enjoyable to read, explains it all clearly, and she
really had me believing I could do it. She was right!
I did it. Now Luke and Jay look darling in their handsome hair cuts by Mom!
I don’t think we will ever go pay to get their hair cut again.
